The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia denounces before the international community the destabilizing actions promoted by supporters of Mr. Evo Morales, seeking to shorten the term of President Luis Arce and impose an unconstitutional candidacy.
These groups have organized, for the upcoming days, violent measures that seek to provoke uncertainty and unrest among the Bolivian community. The roadblocks, riots and sieges of cities have revived their discourse, already raised during 2024, of demanding the resignation of President Luis Arce Catacora and all members of the government.
State bodies with constitutional and electoral powers have publicly stated the reasons for Evo Morales’s disqualification. Under no circumstances should the Political Constitution of the State be violated; no political actor can place itself above the law.
The Bolivian people, in the year of the Bicentennial of their Independence, want peace, not unrest.
The national government reaffirms its commitment to democracy and its willingness to support the holding of general elections on August 17 of this year, so that the people can peacefully elect their new leaders.
We call on the international community to remain vigilant against actions against the democratically elected national government and to support peace and democracy in Bolivia.

COMUNICADO 03-06-2025 (Bolivia denuncia acciones desestabilizadoras contra el gobierno nacional)

El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, denuncia ante la comunidad internacional, las acciones desestabilizadoras promovidas por afines al señor Evo Morales, para acortar el mandato del presidente Luis Arce e imponer una candidatura inconstitucional.
Estos grupos han organizado, para las próximas horas, medidas de presión violentas que buscan provocar incertidumbre y malestar a la población boliviana.
Los bloqueos de caminos y cercos de ciudades han retomado la consigna ya planteada durante el año 2024 de exigir la renuncia del presidente Luis Arce Catacora y de todos los integrantes del gobierno.
Los Órganos del estado con atribuciones constitucionales y electorales han manifestado públicamente las causas de la inhabilitación de Evo Morales. Bajo ninguna circunstancia la Constitución Política del Estado debe ser vulnerada, ningún actor político puede situarse por encima de la ley.
El pueblo boliviano, en el año del Bicentenario de su Independencia, quiere paz y no convulsión.
El gobierno nacional ratifica su compromiso con la democracia y su voluntad de respaldar la realización de las elecciones generales el 17 de agosto del presente año, para que el pueblo elija de manera pacífica a sus nuevos gobernantes.
Hacemos un llamado a la comunidad internacional a permanecer atenta ante las acciones contra el gobierno nacional democráticamente elegido y a respaldar la paz y la democracia en Bolivia.
